Automobile Registration
Within 30 days of moving to Georgia, newcomers must apply for a Georgia Drivers license and a Georgia license plate for each vehicle, including cars, boats, RV’s, and trailers. For registration, proof of insurance is required by Georgia law, along with current registration, title and name/address of lien holder or copy of lease agreement and a power of attorney from the leasing company.
